Oil change in Houston.
Done the right way.
Full-synthetic, synthetic-blend, or conventional oil with an OE-grade filter — matched to your manufacturer's spec. Castrol, Mobil 1, Pennzoil, Royal Purple, and Shell available.
A clean oil change is the cheapest mile you can buy.
Premier Auto Care has serviced Houston drivers, fleet vehicles, and weekend cruisers since 2007. An oil change at the shop is not just a drain-and-fill — it’s also a courtesy check on fluids, belts, filters, tire condition, and your battery.
We follow your manufacturer’s spec on viscosity and interval. No upsells, no scare tactics, and we won’t pour cheap oil in a German engine that needs LL-04 just to save a dollar.
When to bring it in.
Any one of these means it's time for a look — sooner is cheaper than later.
Most modern vehicles want 5,000–7,500 miles on synthetic. Don’t go by the last sticker — go by what your manual says.
Healthy oil is amber. Black and thick means it’s done its job and stopped doing it.
Tappet noise or valve clatter on cold start can mean oil is too thin, too low, or too old.
Low oil pressure is an emergency. Don’t drive on it — get it towed or call the shop.
Could be a leak onto the exhaust, or oil burning internally. Either way, get it diagnosed.
Don’t trust the last owner. Start fresh with clean oil and a new filter — and a full inspection.
Done right, the first time.
ASE-certified technicians, OE-grade parts, and a written estimate before any work starts.

Quick answers.
How much is an oil change in Houston?+
Conventional starts around $45–$60, synthetic-blend $60–$80, and full-synthetic $80–$120 depending on capacity. European and diesel oils cost more because the spec is tighter.
How often should I change synthetic oil?+
Most modern vehicles are 5,000–7,500 miles on full-synthetic. Severe-duty driving — heat, towing, short trips — pushes that closer to 5,000.
Do you change oil in European cars?+
Yes — BMW LL-01/04, Mercedes 229.5/229.51, VW/Audi 502/505/507, Porsche A40. We stock the correct synthetic and OE filters.
Do I need an appointment?+
Appointments get priority on the lift, but walk-ins are welcome during shop hours.
What brands of oil do you carry?+
Castrol, Mobil 1, Pennzoil, Royal Purple, and Shell. If you have a preference, just let us know.
